Garth Brooks Joins Jason Aldean for “Friends In Low Places” Duet

Last night, Amazon Music put on their own special showcase featuring country superstar Jason Aldean during the annual Country Radio Seminar (CRS) in Nashville. The three-day event draws radio professionals, record label executives, emerging artists, and country superstars together to conduct all sorts of industry business.

While watching Aldean take the stage is exciting enough, attendees got and extra dose of starpower when Garth Brooks appeared on stage and joined in as the Georgia native belted out his hit song “My Kinda Party.” The pair then jumped into a duet of Brooks’ iconic tune “Friends in Low Places.”

You guys. I was at a country music conference where @jasonaldean was playing. I’ve literally seen him at @stagecoach with tens of thousands of people. And here he was playing a ballroom for maybe 200? And then! And then! Out came @garthbrooks !!! What!! It was incredible! They sang this song together. And then they sang Friends In Low Places, but my battery only had 1% left. It was something I will always remember. How much fun is this?! Next up for Jason Aldean is the release of his upcoming album Rearview Town on April 13th, the romantic first single “You Make It Easy” debuted in late January. The star will also kick off his High Noon Neon Tour with rising stars Luke Combs and Lauren Alaina on May 10th.

The 2018 Country Radio Seminar runs through Wednesday. We’ll have to see if any other stars make a surprise appearance!
