Garth Brooks‘ world tour has been smashing records recently and the iconic country singer is just getting started.
Garth and wife Trisha are set to play the Fargo Dome in North Dakota on May 6-7th, which happens to be over Mothers Day weekend. Tickets for the exciting event went on sale Friday morning but came to a halt shortly after, due to the ticketing platform crashing under the huge amount of traffic.
Garth had this to say in a press release about the unfortunate situation. “This has been quite an emotional morning for people trying to get tickets and for people trying to sell tickets. This show will be on Mother’s Day Weekend, I think that adds a huge amount of emotion to the mix. I would like to thank the people that showed up today to buy tickets. You have all of my love and gratitude and please accept my apologies for the frustration. I would also like to thank the people that tried to sell tickets today, you have all of my love and gratitude and I sympathize with your frustration.”
Ticket sales had to be postponed in order to relieve the pressure but they are set to start selling again on Thursday, March 24th at 10 AM CT. You can also purchase tickets by calling 1-844-4-GarthB (1-844-442-7842). All ticket prices are $74.98 and there is an 8 ticket limit per purchaser.
If you live in the Fargo, North Dakota area, be ready when tickets go live on Thursday. This will be the first time Garth has made an appearance in this region in 17 years and it will surely sell out and be an epic show.
