Emerging country music group Gal Friday is ready to leave their mark on the country scene with their debut record, 'Smoke and Mirrors.' More here!

Country sister trio Gal Friday (Melissa York, Ashley Min, Lauren Wilson) will release their debut album Smoke and Mirrors this Friday, October 20th, but you can hear the focus track exclusively right here, right now! Enjoy listening to “Smoke and Mirrors” below.

Though this is the trio’s debut album, the members of Gal Friday are hardly new to the industry. Raised in rural North Carolina, they’ve already impacted the industry with their flawless sibling harmonies and rooted rock-meets-southern gospel sound. Though they initially started out as solo acts, it was only a matter of time before friends and family members encouraged the gals to become a trio – and Gal Friday was born. Boy are we glad it was! The sisters have already taken the stage in opening sets for A-listers Keith Urban, Charles Esten, The Band Perry, LoCash, Jason Aldean, Lee Brice, Travis Tritt, Wynonna Judd, Chase Rice, and Kellie Pickler, among others.

“We decided to release a full album after having more songs than we knew what to do with. Being sisters and out on the road so often, we’ve had tons of time to write and we had more than enough songs to release a full project. We’ve been chomping at the bit to get these songs out,” said Melissa York of Gal Friday.

When asked what made the girls choose “Smoke and Mirrors” as the title track of the album, member Lauren Wilson responded, “‘Smoke and Mirrors’ brings a bit of a rock ‘n’ roll vibe to the album. Every time we sing it in public, the fans response blows us away. The fans have really been the driving force behind us picking this song as the title track of the album.”

Be sure to check out the rest of their album this Friday and let them know you’re favorite… They might just make it their next single!
