Florida Georgia Line dropped a juicy piece of information during their recent interview with Y108’s Broadway’s Backyard— their fourth studio album with include a collaboration with country music superstar Jason Aldean.
“You know what, as of last week, we did one with … we got Aldean to sing one with us,” Tyler Hubbard shared. “It’s a really cool song. We know he’s going to be on there. We don’t have anybody else locked down. We’re still waiting for the right opportunities. We don’t like to force that. Just kind of wait and see what happens. We’re really excited about the song we did with him. It sounds awesome.”
As we wait for more information to surface regaring the country duo’s upcoming album, Hubbard did disclose that a new single will be dropping later this summer.
“I’m not sure on the date, exactly, but sometime late this summer we’ll probably put one out, and we’ll get it going,” Hubbard stated. “We’re really, really excited and putting some final things on the mixes and trying to make them as special as possible. They’re coming together really nice and we can’t wait for the world to hear it.”
Coming up, Florida Georgia Line is set to join Bebe Rexha for two television performances— the 2018 ACM Awards on April 15th and The Ellen DeGeneres Show on April 18th. On April 26th, the pair will perform “Up Down” with Morgan Wallen on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Though Florida Georgia Line hasn’t announced any major tour yet, they have several festival appearances booked for this year. Check out their upcoming festival dates and stops below.
