The Eric Church Round Here Buzz music video stars a familiar face— Mickey Smay, the teenager who also appeared in the artist’s “Mr. Misunderstood” and “Record Year” music videos. The song is about a man who is left alone in his small hometown after his ex-girlfriend goes off to chase other things under the bright city lights. Although the main character is heartbroken for awhile, he winds up falling in love with his town. After his ex sees how well he’s doing, she gives him a phone call while crying. The phone buzzes for several minutes before the call is answered. Sadly, Church leaves his fans hanging when he ends the music video abruptly.
This song became the Fourth Hit From Mr. Misunderstood, and reached No. 1 on the Country Charts. The success of this album led to Eric performing at the 2018 Grammy Awards.
