Eric Church is officially the 'Chief' of late night shenanigans.

TouchTunes has released the 2015 edition of its lists documenting the top artists and songs played on jukeboxes across the nation. Eric Church tops the most played artist rankings and is followed by other country standouts Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Johnny Cash, George Strait, and Garth Brooks. Yep, country music sets the perfect tone for a night spent popping open some cold ones and kicking back with your drinking buddies.

Church and Aldean also make appearances on the most-played songs chart, “Burnin’ It Down,” “Like a Wrecking Ball,” and “Smoke a Little Smoke” struck a chord with patrons.

“Music industry ‘experts’ have a multitude of metrics to tell you if a song is working or not, but there’s one way to truly know,” Church quips. “If a person wants to hear your song on a jukebox while they’re kicking back at their favorite bar, you’ve got something. [I’m] proud to have been the soundtrack to a lot of late nights.”

Garth Brooks’ classic “Friends in Low Places” was the second-most played song in 2015— that’s one song that will remain immortal. He was beat out by Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud.” Also a great tune that has really taken over the wedding music circuit since its debut in mid-2014.
