Country music artist Dustin Lynch got the surprise of a lifetime on Tuesday night— an invitation to join the Grand Ole Opry delivered by 15-year Opry member, Trace Adkins!
“All the folks at the Grand Ole Opry are very selective,” said Adkins while sharing the news with the Opry audience. “We think that Dustin Lynch is going to carry on in that grand tradition.”

The Tullahoma, Tennessee, native was emotional while taking in this huge career moment.
“I can’t even talk or I’ll start crying,” Lynch confessed before thanking his hardworking team. “I want to say we would not be here without you guys and girls.”
The “Small Town Boy” singer will be induced into the Grand Ole Opry on September 18th. In October, Lynch will be linking up with Cole Swindell for the Reason to Drink…Another Tour.
