Country music icon Dolly Parton and Australian songstress Sia’s “Here I Am” served as the first musical taste from the upcoming Dumplin’ film soundtrack. The Netflix movie starring Jennifer Aniston will hit the streaming platform and will also play at select U.S. theaters starting on December 7th. “Here I Am” is a re-record, the tune was originally released on Parton’s 1971 Coat of Many Colors film soundtrack.
Dumplin’, based on the novel by Julie Murphy, focuses on a plus-size teenage girl (Danielle Macdonald) who enters a beauty pageant in a rebellious move to prove herself to her former beauty queen mother (Jennifer Aniston) and regain the confidence she feels she has lost. By doing so, the young women sparks a big change in her small Texas town.

The Dumplin’ Original Motion Picture Soundtrack will be released on November 30th and is available for pre-order beginning on November 2nd. “Here I Am” featuring Sia hit No.1 on iTunes Country Songs and Top 10 all-genre upon its release in September.
