Country music legend Dolly Parton is 100% game to collaborate with fellow star Reba McEntire. More on the possibility here!

Combined, country music mavens Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire have amassed 10 Grammy Awards, 16 CMA Awards, and 19 ACM Awards so far in their careers. Given their staying power and success, it is only natural for country music fans to want to see these two talented artists collaborate in the studio.

As fans may recall, Dolly made an appearance in on Reba’s self-titled WB sitcom in 2005. Surprisingly enough, the pair have not joined forces in the musical realm very often— and never in an official capacity.

“Reba and I have often talked about working together or doing a TV show together. We certainly—through the years—should have done something together, [a TV show] or just to do a movie or something, but we certainly should sing something together,” Parton recently shared with Nash Nights Live co-host and the host of the Women Want to Talk About Women podcast, Elaina Smith.

Hear that, Reba? Let’s hope these two make it happen and give their fans one heck of a duet and maybe even a music video. Check out Reba and Dolly singing “How Blue” together below!

Don’t they sound great together? Share this hopeful update with other fans!

“How Blue” Lyrics

How blue can you make me
How long till I heal
How can I go on loving you when you’re gone
How blue can I feel
Oh honey why did you leave me
Ain’t you got a heart left in your chest
I swear to you that I’m dying
Cause my mind won’t let my body rest
How blue can you make me
How long till I heal
How can I go on loving you when you’re gone
How blue can I feel
If I sink any lower I’ll go under
If I cry anymore I’ll go blind
Oh there ain’t no relief for this missing you grief
How long can you torture my mind
How blue can you make me
How long till I heal
How can I go on loving you when you’re gone
How blue can I feel
How can I go on loving you when you’re gone
How blue can I feel
