Country music legend Dolly Parton and husband Carl Dean don't need an expensive restaurant or a fancy venue to have a good time! More here.

Country music icon Dolly Parton may have more money than any of can even imagine but she keeps it simple when it comes to date nights with her longtime husband Carl Dean.

“Carl and I have a little camper, a little RV, and we’re always driving through fast food restaurants to get our stuff,” Parton confessed to SiriusXM host Andy Cohen in 2016.  “That’s one of the things we do. I’m always in the front seat. Sometimes they know me, sometimes they don’t.”

If the Tennessee native is recognized by the drive thru staff, she doesn’t mind signing autographs— but goodness help them if her order gets messed up!

Although Parton especially loves Taco Bell’s menu items, she’s pretty open to stopping by other fast food establishments.

“Date night, we do whatever feels happy and comfortable with us. It’s hard for me to get him to dress up to go to a nice dinner because he’s just a country boy and hates that stuff. We do whatever’s good. We have a good time,” the star added.

These low-key dates have certainly worked to keep the love alive between Dolly and Carl! The pair will soon celebrate their 53rd wedding anniversary on May 30th.

The pair first met at the Wishy Washy laundromat during Dolly’s first day in Nashville back in 1964 and they instantly fell in love.

“My first thought was ‘I’m gonna marry that girl,'” Dean shared with Entertainment Tonight in 2016 about his first encounter with Dolly. “My second thought was, ‘Lord she’s good lookin.'” And that was the day my life began. I wouldn’t trade the last 50 years for nothing on this earth.”

Despite his wife’s mega-star status, Carl avoids show business altogether and owns a road repair company. In fact, he has only attended a handful of Dolly’s live performances throughout the years and only one awards ceremony. “He’s a deep person, but he has a great and warped sense of humor,” Parton once shared with The Boot about her soulmate. “He makes me laugh and entertains me. He’s very secure within himself.”

We wish Dolly Parton and her husband Carl Dean many more fast food dates together! Share this tidbit with other country music fans!
