Country music star Dierks Bentley recently got to share his love for hockey with his 4-year-old son, Knox, during an an optional practice with the Nashville Predators! The father-son pair were joined by Preds players Pekka Rinne and Eeli Tolvanen during their outing.
“It’s like Predators fantasy camp day for me. It’s a chance to skate with the guys and then sign autographs wearing a Predators jersey. I feel there’s something really wrong about that. If you’ve seen me skate, you know that’s really not a good thing. It was really fun, man,” Bentley shared after leaving the ice according to CMT.

In May, Bentley will launch his 2018 Mountain High Tour in support of his upcoming ninth studio album, The Mountain. The tour will kick off in Columbia, Maryland on May 17th with LANCO and Brothers Osborne along for the ride.
“I’ve been friends with TJ and John for a long time and I have loved watching their career explode,” Dierks shared in a past statement. “I’m just getting to know the boys in LANCO, but I love their music and the energy they bring to the stage. And after seeing them and the Bros party down at the grand opening of my new bar on Lower Broadway last week, I can tell you it’s gonna be game on this summer!”
“I needed the time off to devote all my attention to the new music and making The Mountain album,” he continued. “But now I can’t wait to fire up the buses and get back out there.”

With his upcoming album, the Arizona natives plans to focus on themes of discovery and diving deep into oneself with the backing of bluegrass elements such as mandolin, banjo, fiddle and flatpicked guitar. It will be interesting to see how this upcoming project compares the star’s 2010 bluegrass album Up on the Ridge. The Mountain is currently available for pre-order via Dierk’s official website here.
For added cuteness, here’s Knox back in 2017 showing off his hockey skills!
