Lady Antebellum's Dave Haywood and wife Kelli got an extra special gift right before Christmas--- their baby girl! Congrats!!!
Lady Antebellum‘s Dave Haywood and wife Kelli welcomed their second baby into the world on Friday, December 22nd at 11:14 a.m. in Nashville. Daughter Lillie Renee Haywood weighed in at 7 lbs., 6 oz., and measures 19 inches long. The couple also have a 3-year-old son, Cash Van Haywood.
“She is named after both of her grandmothers. Kelli and Lillie are happy and healthy, and Cash is already a great big brother. God is good!” Dave shared via social media with the family snapshot below.
Big brother Cash is totally ready to show little sis the ropes when it comes to music and the ABCs…
It’s interesting to note that like his newborn sister, Cash’s name was also taken straight from Dave and Kelli’s family tree. His name comes from his mother’s maiden name, which is Cashiola, shortened to Cash, and Haywood’s father, whose name is Van.
Back in August, Lady Antebellum surprised fans with the news that both Dave and lead singer Hillary Scott‘s families were adding little ones to the band’s brood. Later it was revealed that Hillary is pregnant with twin girls.
“Well, #BabyBellum round 2 is on the way! We’re thrilled to announce the Haywoods are welcoming a girl this December, AND the Tyrrells are expecting in February 2018!!” Lady Antebellum captioned the announcement post.
Congrats to the Haywood family and the growing Lady Antebellum crew!
In celebration of Lillie’s big debut, let’s enjoy the trio’s tune “The Stars,” which is dedicated to their young children and appears on the group’s recently released seventh studio album, Heart Break.
Life is a beautiful messed up mystery
Yeah, it’s true, it can make you laugh, it can cut you deep
Sometimes you gonna feel like a million bucks
Sometimes a burned out cigarette
But whatever comes your way, no matter what, don’t you ever forget
The stars ain’t got nothing on you
Your heart burns much brighter than the moon
If you ever feel lost and broken inside
Just remember the way you helped me shine
The stars ain’t got nothing on you
Your eyes got a fire that can burn the cold away
And your smile could turn the darkest night into a summer days
Sometimes you’re gonna feel like you just can’t lose, sometimes you reaching for the reset
But whatever comes your way, no matter what you’re going through, don’t you ever forget
The stars ain’t got nothing on you
Your heart burns much brighter than the moon
If you ever feel lost and broken inside
Just remember the way you helped me shine
The stars ain’t got nothing on you
You’re a sunset hanging off a purple sky
You’re the perfect melody to a lullaby
So life gets too much, take a deep breath
And don’t you ever forget
The stars ain’t got nothing on you
Your heart burns much brighter than the moon
If you ever feel lost and broken inside
Just remember the way you helped me shine
The stars ain’t got nothing on you
Yeah, the stars ain’t got nothing on you
