Canaan Smith first got our attention with his 2014 sophomore single, “Love You Like That.” If his dazzling blue eyes look familiar, the Virginia native was a contestant on CBS’ 15th season of The Amazing Race.
In 2009, the aspiring singer moved to Nashville and co-wrote Love and Theft’s hit “Runaway” which made it to number 10 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Not a bad introduction to Music City…
In mid-2015 Smith released his first full-length studio album dubbed Bronco. Lead single “Love You Like That” climbed to number one on the Country Airplay chart and the second single from the album “Hole in a Bottle” hit country radio in August.
Sorry ladies, Canaan married Christy Hardesty in August 2014. But we can still all appreciate his handsomeness.
Sigh. Dreams die hard.
