We all know that country music stars live, eat, and breathe music, but did you know some of them have other hidden talents and hobbies? When they get a break from the spotlight, these singers spend their time doing things other than working on music. Check it out below!

Jake Owen: Golf

A lot has been said about Jake Owen‘s passion for water sports, but did you know he was actually on track to become a professional golfer before a wake boarding accident messed up his shoulder? Dierks Bentley: Hockey

Dierks Bentley really enjoys hockey and his hometown team, the Nashville Predators. During the one year he spent at college at the University of Vermont, he lived next door to a Stanley Cup-winning goaltender and even shared the same class with another future hall of famer. Bentley plays in a recreational hockey league in Nashville with some of his crew. He even carries his gear with him on the road and has been featured at events such as the NHL All Star game.

Cameron Duddy: Directing

Cameron Duddy makes up one piece of the quickly-emerging new country music trio Midland, but he does more than play bass and sing harmony. He is also an award-winning director, which makes sense because his dad is Hollywood cinematographer Christopher Duddy, who contributed to Terminator 2, True Lies, and Total Recall. However, Cameron made a name for himself by directing music videos for some of the industry’s biggest stars, including Bruno Mars. He directed the video for “Uptown Funk” and also won an MTV Video Music Award for Mars’ “Locked Out Of Heaven.” As for his band, he also directed the video for their hit “Drinkin’ Problem.”
