New Year’s Eve is a time of hope and reflection. Country music acts Boo Ray, Jerrod Niemann, Olivia Lane, Carly Pearce, James Barker Band, Spencer Crandall, and Muscadine Bloodline share their traditions, plans, and dreams for 2017 below!
Carly Pearce
“Every year, I love getting together with family and friends that I love and reflecting and celebrating the year– some ups, some downs, some successes, some disappointments… And sending good thoughts and prayers into the new year.”
Olivia Lane
“I always ring in the New Year with friends and family and a bottle of champagne! The New Year, to me, is sort of like a new beginning, which is very exciting.”
Jerrod Niemann
“I know many artists play music on New Years Eve, but I like to take a little different route. First, I find out who’s still in Nashville for the holidays and invite them over. Then, I fire up the Big Green Egg, smoke ribs & wings, and find something cold to wash them down. We talk about what we want to accomplish in the upcoming year.”
James Barker Band
“The past three New Years Eves we’ve had a gig to play, so we have our own band tradition!”
Muscadine Bloodline
“We are looking forward to setting entirely new and more aggressive goals for 2017. We also just released our winter tour dates. Traveling to play for our fans is one of the most important things to us. We plan on keeping that on top of our priority list for years to come.”
Spencer Crandall
“I love when it’s a New Year because I like to revamp my goals and take a look at the previous year to see what I need to change or continue doing. New Years are great for strategizing and re-energizing, so I look forward to what 2017 has to offer.”
Boo Ray
“I eat greens & blackeyed peas and I’m getting a tattoo this New Years Eve. I’m looking forward to releasing ‘Redneck Rock & Roll’ as the next single from the ‘Sea Of Lights’ album.. AND, I can’t wait for y’all to hear the new album I just recorded. Let’s do it like Harry Dean in 2017!”
We wish you all a safe and happy New Year’s Eve celebration!
