Chris Young‘s Christmas album It Must Be Christmas drops this Friday, October 14th. Besides providing solid holiday music, he’s also helping to make the holidays a little brighter for disadvantaged children as he teams up with Toys For Tots, a 69-year national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.
The worthy cause will collect donations along the country star’s headlining I’m Comin’ Over Tour stops November 17th through December 10th. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy or book to one of nine tour dates with gifts being distributed to less fortunate children in the local community.
“My sister and brother-in-law both served in the United States Marines Corps so I’m excited to join up with Toys For Tots and help share the Christmas spirit with kids in the cities along my tour,” explained Young.
