During his San Antonio, Texas concert, country music artist Chris Young paid tribute to Daryle Singletary by playing an abbreviated cover of the late star’s hit “I Let Her Lie.” Watch Young’s heartfelt performance in the following clip!
Singletary unexpectedly passed away on February 12th at his home in Lebanon, Tennessee at the age of 46. No official cause of death has been announced. Singletary leaves behind his wife, Holly, and their four young children Jonah (7), Mercer (7), Nora (5), and Charlotte (3).
In 1995, his recording of “I Let Her Lie” hit No. 2 on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles and Tracks chart and is featured on his self-titled debut album. Check out the official “I Let Her Lie” music video below!
