This week Chris Young revealed his plans to drop new music in 2017. The record's first track is set to release Friday, May 12th!
Country music star Chris Young grew up hoping to make a career out of music and he’s certainly realized his lifelong dream in a big way. The “I’m Comin’ Over” singer shared the news of his new album via Facebook on May 2nd. Unfortunately, he did not share exactly when the record will drop, but he did blurt out that the album’s first single will be available on Friday, May 12th. The Tennessee native also gave away the lead single’s title, “Losing Sleep.”

With less than 24 hours before the release, fans of Chris Young are testing their patience, but what should they expecting from the new music? Chris has remained pretty mum about his new project, but did share the following via Facebook— “Some of the songs are a little more stripped; a lot of them are really specific grooves.”
There are several upcoming opportunities to see the 31-year-old performing live as he is currently an opening act for Jason Aldean’s They Don’t Know Tour. The tour kicked off in Toledo, Ohio, and is scheduled to wrap up October 8th, in Anaheim, California. Check out the full tour schedule on Young’s website.
