Country music stars Chris and Morgane Stapleton have two major events to celebrate, their 10th wedding anniversary and adding a set of twins to the family!
Yes, you read that right—- country music power couple Chris and Morgane Stapleton are adding twins to their family of four!
Morgane broke the news in a sweet anniversary post to her husband, “14 years, 2 babies, & 2 more on the way. Happy 10 year anniversary babe! You make my whole world go round,” she shared along with a black and white photo of the love birds.
According to the Dallas Observer, Chris causally mentioned his wife’s pregnancy during his recent stop in Dallas, telling the crowd before starting up “Tennessee Whiskey”, “She’s the mother of my two kids, and she’s about to be the mother of two more.”
The couple first met though work in Nashville at the well-known Sea Gayle Music publishing company and their first date involved writing a song together. Morgane candidly described the beginning of their love story during an interview with the Washington Post, “We’d hear the jingle of his keys as he walked down the hall, and we knew he was coming to play us whatever new song he had written. Eventually he asked me to write a song with him, and that ended up being our first date. We didn’t get much writing done that night.”
Chris and Morgane got hitched on October 30, 2007 and are already proud parents of a son and a daughter. No news yet on when the twins are due to arrive. Congrats to the happy couple!
