Chris Stapleton and Morgane Stapleton are usually mum when it comes to their personal lives— the names of their eldest son and daughter are still not public— but the couple did take to social media to update fans on the family’s status after welcoming twin baby boys.
“Thank you for all the love! We’re so grateful to finally be home with our sweet family. We would like to say a special thank you to all the incredible nurses & doctors at Centennial Women’s & Children’s Hospital in Nashville. At more than a month early, we had a week long stay in the nicu & the incredible people there kept our boys healthy & happy. Words cannot express our gratitude for you all & what you did for our family. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!” the stars shared along with a sweet snapshot of Morgane holding her little ones.
It’s great to hear that the twins and their mother are doing well. Chris also took to social media to thank Reba McEntire and fans for their well wishes, “Thank you for sharing our good news Reba McEntire! We couldn’t have dreamed up a better day. Morgane & the boys are doing great & we appreciate everyone’s support!”
After the Kentucky native was announced as the ‘Album of the Year’ winner for From A Room: Volume 1, the country music maven announced the happy news to the excited Las Vegas audience. We doubt this birth announcement at the 2018 ACM Awards can ever be topped…
Later in the awards show, Stapleton also won ‘Male Vocalist of the Year.’ Twin trophies for twin boys— what a baby gift, right?
We couldn’t be more thrilled for this couple! Since Chris and Morgane are riding on cloud nine right now, let’s celebrate with his latest single “Millionaire.”
“Millionaire” Lyrics
They say “Love is more precious than gold”
Can’t be bought and it can’t be sold
I got love enough to spare
That makes me a millionaire
I got a woman with eyes that shine
Down deep as a diamond mine
She’s my treasure so very rare
She’s made me a millionaire
When we ride around, ride around this old town
In the beat-up car, with the windows down
People look at her and they look at me
And say “That boy is sure living in luxury”
Sweet luxury
‘Cause love is more precious than gold
It can’t be bought, no, never could be sold
I got love enough to share
That makes me a millionaire
When the kisses fall from everywhere
Life reaches on, millionaire
When the pocket’s are empty and the cover is bare
I still feel like a millionaire
‘Cause love is more precious than gold
It can’t be bought, no, and it can’t be sold
I got love enough to spare
That makes me a millionaire
