The new release by Chris and Morgane Stapleton is the old time classic “You Are My Sunshine.”
The track was recently debuted on NPR and is a six minute, minimalistic masterpiece. The production on the song blends their voices magically and is very riveting. This time, Morgane is taking the lead spot, with husband Chris singing harmony vocals.

On the coming compilation album Southern Family, producer Dave Cobb is getting very talented people to sing songs of home, and family. Along with the Stapletons, the disc will feature songs by Zac Brown, Miranda Lambert, Shooter Jennings, and Holly Williams to name a few.
Chris and Morgane have actually been playing this song together for years. Check out this throwback video of them above playing this song at Eddie’s Attic way back in 2013.These two have a real chemistry and will surely keep on creating great new music with all of their recent success. The Stapletons currently live in Nashville and have two beautiful kids and now two beautiful Grammys as well.
