Hunter isn’t the only other musician to freak out over the legendary country music hit-maker.
Back in November, former boy band member Justin Timberlake stunned Garth Brooks by showing up in the front row of the country star’s St. Louis, Missouri show and inviting him to his upcoming Nashville show. Justin Timberlake did more than just welcome Garth Brooks to the Nashville leg of his tour, he pulled Brooks onstage for a giant “Friends in Low Places” sing along.
During an interview with Sirius XM station ‘The Highway,’ Garth Brooks detailed his Justin Timberlake experience, “We’re in St. Louis, and (tour manager) Chuck comes, and he goes, ‘Justin Timberlake’s here,’ and I went, ‘Hahaha! Yeah, right!’ and he goes, ‘No, dude. He’s here.’ My first question was, ‘Why?’ So I come to find out he grew up on our stuff (music). He’s right over stage right, and this kid’s singing every word, and I’m like, ‘Holy cow!'”
