Carrie Underwood’s Husband Inks New NHL Contract

After last season’s Stanley Cup Finals defeat, Nashville Predators’ Center Mike Fisher thought he was ready to walk away from hockey forever. The former captain planned to stay home and raise his son while his wife, Carrie Underwood, pursued her musical career. Also, Fisher glanced at some other business ventures, but eventually his competitive drive and an irresistible itch led him to ink a new contract with the Nashville Predators. The contract is reported to be a one year deal worth about $1 million. It’s apparent Fisher cannot wait to hop back on the ice with his teammates…

I guess the smile says it all. As I was driving to the rink yesterday I couldn’t help but laugh and smile. It felt like driving home to be honest!
