Carrie Underwood and husband Mike Fisher are expecting their second baby soon and the singer expands on her second pregnancy.
It is often said by mothers that each pregnancy can be so different from one another and with singer Carrie Underwood that is definitely the case.
“It’s definitely different than the first time,” Underwood said recently. “When they say every pregnancy is different, it really is. Just different symptoms. I feel like this one is just a little harder on my body for some reason. But it’s been really good.”
Underwood is already the mom to 3 -year old Isaiah, who has said already that he will have no part in changing his younger sibling’s “poopy diapers”! 🤣
Recently, Underwood also shared another milestone in motherhood: she’s officially a soccer mom!
Underwood and her husband have decided on a baby name, which means that they know the gender but aren’t sharing that info publicly just yet.
“We like to kind of just hold on to things for a minute,” Underwood said on the Ellen show. “I feel like everybody just knows everything about everybody, so we just like to have a little secret for a little while.”
As for the name? Of course that is secret too!
“We have picked out a name, but we’re keeping that to ourselves right now,” she revealed. “We’re fixing to move. I haven’t bought anything yet, we still have some of the stuff, cribs and stuff from my son, but we’ll figure it out. We’re about to move so I’ll start buying stuff once we’re there. It’d be pointless to buy it and then move it.”
It was reported back in May that Underwood and her family were looking to move to a different neighborhood in Nashville and we expect the singer to have completed the move before the second bundle of joy arrives.
Underwood admits that her and her husband’s lives are so much different than before their first child.
“I remember when we first found out we were gonna have him [Isaiah], it [was] like, ‘How are we gonna do this? Our lives are so crazy as it is’,” Underwood remembered. “But you just make room and you learn how important that family time is, and to be able to spend time and carve out some of that and maybe get to go on vacation and maybe get to go on a cruise — that stuff is so important to, like I said, make time for family,” she added. “That’s what it’s all about.”
