The roughly 50,000 attendees of the 2017 Passion Christian conference hosted at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia got a major surprise when country superstar Carrie Underwood turned up alongside David Crowder to belt out “Lift Your Head Weary Sinner.”

It’s awesome how Carrie just pops up on stage without prior introduction, what an unexpected thrill for the crowd. The songstress also performed her 2014 smash hit “Something in the Water” to close out the first day of the event.
After her appearance, the star posted the following to her Instagram account, “Oh, just hanging out with @crowdermusic at #passion2017 ! So much energy in the room tonight! Thanks for letting me be a part of it! These folks are changing the world!”
