After hiding half of her face or obscuring it for months, country music hit-maker Carrie Underwood has decided to share a full photo of her famous face! Even better, she’s back with her band and rehearsing! For what? Well, it could have something to do with the Nashville Predators playoff run or possibly the upcoming 2018 ACM Awards on Sunday, April 15th. The star is nominated in two categories— ‘Female Vocalist of the Year’ and ‘Vocal Event of the Year,’ for her duet with Keith Urban on “The Fighter.” We will just have to wait and see.
Carrie looks to be holding nothing back!
We haven’t seen much of the Oklahoman since her accident back in November resulted in a broken wrist and facial stitches. It’s great to see evidence that she is planning to get back in front of an audience very soon! Underwood is also currently slated to take the stage at the upcoming CMA Fest on June 8th and at WE Fest in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota on August 2nd.
On Wednesday, the star shared a black and white photo of herself in the recording studio. Fans are hopeful that this means Underwood will drop the followup to her 2015 Storyteller album this year. That hit record spawned four No.1 singles with “Smoke Break,” “Heartbeat,” “Church Bells,” and “Dirty Laundry.” If a new album is in the works, it would be her first with her new record label UMG Nashville.
