Country music hit-maker Carrie Underwood is auctioning off her dirt bike and other items to help out an organization close to her heart. More here!
Country music powerhouse Carrie Underwood is parting ways with her 2014 Honda dirt bike for a great reason— to help support Danita’s Children, an organization dedicated to assisting vulnerable children and families in Haiti.
The star’s husband, retired NHL player Mike Fisher, is a director on the board for Danita’s Children, which provides “education, nutrition, medical and dental care, and Christ-like love to the children and families we serve. We believe through our teachers, mentors, and house parents we are raising children to discover their purpose and to become the future leaders of Haiti.”
The charitable organization is located in the northeast region of Haiti in the village of Ouanaminthe, near the border with the Dominican Republic. Its stateside office is based in Franklin, Tennessee.
