Country music superstar Carrie Underwood has released her powerful new single, “Cry Pretty.” The song was co-written by the star alongside Hillary Lindsey, Lori McKenna, and Liz Rose.
This track gives country music fans a nice taste of her upcoming sixth studio album, which will be released via her new label home Universal Music Group Nashville. The project will follow 2015’s Storyteller, which spun off a massive tour and hit four songs— “Smoke Break,” “Heartbeat,” “Church Bells,” and “Dirty Laundry.”
On Sunday, the Oklahoman is set to perform “Cry Pretty” during the 2018 ACM Awards. This appearance will mark Underwood’s first stage performance since her accident back in November resulted in a broken wrist and facial injuries.
