Country music singer-songwriter Carrie Underwood is hoping nothing goes wrong with her 2018 CMA Awards wardrobe! More here...

Country music superstar Carrie Underwood will be co-hosting the 2018 CMA Awards with fellow hit-maker Brad Paisley tonight (Nov. 14) for the eleventh consecutive time! As always, the “Love Wins” singer will be making many wardrobe changes during the ceremony— but this time it’s a little more complicated since she is pregnant with her second child!

“We will see if things zip,” the Oklahoman kidded while on ABC’s Good Morning America last Friday (Nov. 9) alongside Brad Paisley. “We had a fitting like a week ago and I don’t know if those things are going to fit me come Wednesday. So, we’ll see. I’m going to try.”

As fans can recall, Carrie was pregnant with her first child, Isaiah, during the 2014 CMA Awards. We’re sure there are plenty back-up outfits in place. Who can forget when Brad revealed the gender of Carrie and husband Mike Fisher’s baby during the opening monologue?!

“I’m not telling Brad,” Underwood shared. “I’m not even sure we’ve told all of our family and stuff.”

“I think you are taking great pains to make sure I don’t know because right now I’m so in the dark,” Paisley added. “She knows better. I’ll blow it again.”

All joking aside, Carrie and Brad take their hosting roles very seriously and work hard to make it enjoyable for everyone.

“I feel like right now we’re kind of in a challenging time,” Underwood explained to Kix Brooks of American Country Countdown. “You know, everybody’s got an opinion about everything [laughing], and it’s so easy to throw one’s opinion out into the world. We take what we do very seriously. We want everyone to have a good night. We want to be funny. We want to be timely, but times are stressful, you know, right now, so it’s like . . . I don’t know. I’m not sure what we’re gonna come up with as far as keeping things light. I’m sure somebody’ll do something dumb before the CMAs . . . We’re always just hoping! Please! Nothing too bad—just something that they can laugh at themselves about and that we can just have a little chuckle at, too, you know? Come on, guys, I need you to step up. Take one for the team!”

Both country stars will also be performing during the show! Be sure to catch the event live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, November 14th at 7 p.m. CT via ABC.
