California native Cam recently teamed up with Smokey Robinson for one of the best duets you will ever see. Check out "Burning House" here...

Of course we all thought Cam’s solo version of “Burning House” was phenomenal, but her lovely collaboration with Smokey Robinson has taken the song to a new level. The legendary soul singer turned out to be the perfect partner for this CMT Crossroads episode. After nailing an incredible performance, the two embraced each other with a big hug, making it apparent that Cam was floored by Robinson’s talent. Smokey also appreciates Cam’s skills and admits that her track “Diane” is one of his favorite songs.

“This woman is a great songwriter,” Robinson told Taste of Country. “She’s a great singer. She’s a great person. That makes it so much easier, and I think we blend better when we feel like that about somebody.”

“I grew up listening to Motown, and my dad singing Motown to me, me trying to emulate Motown,” Cam said. “And these are the songs that I think are basically the standard of what good music is.”

Check out their tremendous performance below and catch the full episode of CMT Crossroads: Smokey Robinson & Cam on Wednesday, March 28th at 10/9c via CMT.

“Burning House” Lyrics

I had a dream about a burning house
You were stuck inside, I couldn’t get you out
I laid beside you and pulled you close
And the two of us went up in smoke

Love isn’t all that it seems I did you wrong
I’ll stay here with you until this dream is gone

I’ve been sleepwalking, been wandering all night
Trying to take what’s lost and broke and make it right
I’ve been sleepwalking too close to the fire
But it’s the only place that I can hold you tight
In this burning house

See you at a party and you look the same
I could take you back but people don’t ever change
Wish that we would go back in time
I’d be the one you thought you’d find

Love isn’t all that it seems I did you wrong
I’ll stay here with you until this dream is gone

I’ve been sleepwalking, been wandering all night
Trying to take what’s lost and broke and make it right
I’ve been sleepwalking too close to the fire
But it’s the only place that I can hold you tight
In this burning house

The flames are getting bigger now
In this burning house
I can hold on to you somehow
In this burning house
Oh, and I don’t wanna wake up
In this burning house

And I’ve been sleepwalking, been wandering all night
Trying to take what’s lost and broke and make it right
I’ve been sleepwalking too close to the fire
But it’s the only place that I can hold you tight
In this burning out

Be sure to share this duet with other country music fans!
