On Tuesday, rising country music star Brett Young brought his stunning cover of “O Holy Night” to LIVE with Kelly and Ryan. The classic is one of Young’s favorite Christmas songs, which he released digitally in October, get it here.
“I grew up singing ‘O Holy Night’ in church, and it reminds me of so many childhood memories,” Brett shared in a statement. “There’s just something so beautiful and reverent about it that gets me in the holiday spirit every time I hear it. It is one of my favorite Christmas songs so I jumped at the chance to record it.”

“It feels awesome. We’re getting out on the road and really putting some miles on the bus. It’s awesome. We had so much fun the last year, year-and-a-half getting to be on these bigger tours. We were so excited to get out and have our own hour-and-15 minute set where we could dive into more songs form the record and be fun and creative with our covers and things like that. Not only that, but a lot of times when you’re playing the bigger venues as an opener, the bigger venues are 20 minutes outside of the city. All these clubs that we’re playing on the Caliville Tour are right in the heart of some really cool cities. We’re having a blast. More time onstage, but also more time to see some cool cities and parts of the country,” Young told Sounds Like Nashville last month about his current tour.
As fans know, Brett has had great success with his debut single, “Sleep Without You,” and he earned a No. 1 hit with his second single, “In Case You Didn’t Know.” His third single, “Like I Loved You,” is currently spinning at country radio.
