To promote his Christmas album “Glow”, country music artist Brett Eldredge is embarking on a hilarious video series dubbed “Brettmas”.
Christmas in the Eldredge house is a time of love and laughter and the country music singer wanted to share the latter with his fans for the second year in a row this holiday season.
Last year, Eldredge’s Holiday album Glow came out and he promoted it with a series of hilarious videos featuring himself with dressed up band mates and friends playing odd characters, such as “Aunt Janice”.
Well lucky for us, Aunt Janice (guitar-player Greg Carillo) is back again showing us how to make our favorite holiday recipes, and feeling a little weird while we do it!
The entire series, dubbed “Brettmas”, is helping to shine some attention onto the year-old record Glow, which is out this year in vinyl for the first time. The record was a project Eldredge was very proud to make.
“Christmas is far and away my favorite holiday and recording the music for Glow was a dream come true,” Eldredge said. “I’ve been inspired for this record from a very young age, and I dreamt of the day I could record all these classic songs that I’ve loved since I was a little kid. I think we found a little magic on this album and Christmas is all about magic!”
“We always talked about, like one day we’re gonna listen to my own Christmas album together,” he recalled, “after all these years of listening to all these classics that inspired me to make that album. So it was special.”
The album is a throwback to Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Ray Charles…however the video series promoting it is lacking in the “class” department and leans more into inciting laughter and light-heartedness among the viewers.
The video below features an odd array of holiday bachelors participating in a faux-dating video which boasts characters that any lady would probably want to run from…excluding Eldredge of course. Perhaps he just made this video to make himself look even better? It worked!
As you can see, Eldredge’s sense of humor is strong. Be sure to order his holiday album for someone you love on vinyl this year and stay tuned to his YouTube account for more “Brettmas” installments!
