Dierks Bentley has released the second installment of the short film series surrounding his eighth studio album BLACK (May 27th).
“What The Hell Did I Say” is off the upcoming record and the video picks up after Episode 1’s “sultry peek behind the curtains of an affair” (Entertainment Weekly) which featured the song “I’ll Be The Moon”.
Bentley continues the bi-weekly series with longtime director Wes Edwards as the suspense lingers surrounding secrets brought to light involving the love triangle.
Today (April 15th), fans can watch Episode 2 , while iTunes mirrors the series by offering instant downloads of the new episode’s featured track “What The Hell Did I Say”.
“‘What The Hell Did I Say’ a pretty rocking song off the record that a lot of people can relate to because we all know what happens when phones, alcohol and regrets mix together,” shares Bentley.
“Everyone’s wondered what they may have said the night before or on a bender. The music helps balance out those feelings the next morning and I love the way Wes was able to capture the turmoil of this song with three different perspectives.”
