Like all couples, country music artist Brantley Gilbert and his wife Amber have to keep their communication open and honest. Unlike most married folks— Brantley sometimes gets some unwanted extra attention from his legions of female fans.
The Georgia native recently told a story about one incident that got Amber fired up. You see, Brantley got a pair of women’s underwear stuck on one of his bracelets when he reached down to greet his audience. When he lifted up his arms it looked like the star was showing off his ‘find’ to the crowd. Needless to say, Amber was not amused and Brantley freaked out about the unexpected hitchhiker.
“She looked up at my head of security, PJ, who’s been with me more than 10 years now, and he’s a gentle giant but he’s hilarious. He said, ‘I probably shouldn’t tell you this but I got to tell you what she did,’” Gilbert recalled during an interview with OneCountry.
Apparently Amber asked PJ to escort her to the pit to locate the woman who ‘gifted’ the pair of underwear to her husband. As luck would have it, PJ was able to stop Amber from seeking out the guilty party and causing a scene.
“She’s tiny but she’s tough,” the country star mused.
Oh man, we’re sure that situation led to quite a few conversations and eventually plenty of laughs.
