Country singer and songwriter Brad Paisley will contribute to the soundtrack of the upcoming installment of the ‘Cars’ movie series.

West Virginia native country star Brad Paisley is known for many things. He is an award-winning musician (three GRAMMYs, two American Music Awards, 14 Academy of Country Music Awards and 14 Country Music Association Awards), an incredible awards show host, comedian, and all-around great guy.

Now he can add three-time cartoon movie soundtrack contributor to that list. You may remember one of the previous songs he performed for the first Pixar Cars movie titled “Find Yourself” which is a sweet song about the times life doesn’t work out how you expected it to.

You can listen to it below, get ready… it’s a tearjerker!

In Cars 2 Paisley teamed up with Robbie Williams to perform the song “Collision of the Worlds”, which is about two very different individuals that are meeting in the middle and combining both of their experiences into something positive. There is a cool video below for that song too!

The tracks that Paisley contributed for the upcoming Cars 3 movie will not have lyrics, which means they will feature his amazing guitar playing skills. The songs will be titled “Truckaroo” and “Thunder Hollow Breakdown” and will be the played during some high-energy scenes where the movie’s characters will be participating in the “Crazy 8 Demolition Derby.”

“We knew he could have some fun with a demolition derby, and he just killed it,” says Tom MacDougall, executive vice president of music at Disney. “His down-home country tracks really add to the scene’s action and humor.”

The Cars 3 soundtrack and movie is set for release on June 16th and we are sure Paisley’s sons, Huck and Jasper with wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley, will enjoy their father’s musical contributions to the film!

The Cars trilogy isn’t the only television and film project Paisley is associating himself with these days. Ten points to whoever knows what streaming television series Paisley’s recent concert backdrop is referencing below…
