While out promoting his new album, 'Texoma Shore,' country star Blake Shelton got some unexpected news about his actual Texoma lake house! More here.

Country music star Blake Shelton got some unwelcome news recently— a truck crashed into his Oklahoma lake house!

“This is a weird moment for me,” Shelton shared while appearing on Live With Kelly and Ryan. “I’m talking about Texoma Shore and I made the album at my lake house, and I just got a phone call. Somebody drove their truck through the front of my lake house.”

“So if this album doesn’t hit, then that’s bad luck,” he joked. “There’s a truck sticking out of the front of my freaking house. I gotta sell some records.”

As reported by KXII, a landscaping truck lurched forward unexpectedly, hitting the gate and the side of Shelton’s house. Fortunately no one was injured and the property damage was minimal. Shelton didn’t seem too flustered by the incident and went straight to cracking jokes about the mishap.

The Oklahoman has bigger things to keep him busy! Texoma Shore dropped on Friday, November 3rd and the star’s 2018 Country Music Freaks Tour with Brett Eldredge, Carly Pearce, and special guest Trace Adkins will kick off on February 12th in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
