Aside from Blake’s booming career, as per usual, his relationship with fellow The Voice coach Gwen Stefani is making tabloid headlines. No, Gwen was not dumped by Blake Shelton as claimed by In Touch and no ‘live TV proposal’ was ever in the works. A few months back, the tabloid also claimed that Stefani was adopting a baby girl. Before that, the pair were expecting twins. The couple are very much still together and even spent Mother’s Day weekend together with her three sons.
Speaking of mothers, Blake recently told Parade about the influence his mother Dorothy had on his rise to stardom, “The best piece of advice my mom ever gave me is, ‘Don’t be afraid to follow your dreams.’” He also revealed his mother’s support of his lifelong dream to pursue a music career, “Since I was a kid, I always wanted to be a country singer. When I started singing in talent contests … she would drive me there and encourage me.”
Blake is certainly living his dream right now! Share this update with other country music fans.
