2017 started off with an escape into the woods for Blake Shelton, Chris Janson, Easton Corbin, and a bearded Dustin Lynch!
The merry band of Country music stars and outdoor enthusiasts made this year’s Opry Hunt Camp— the Grand Ole Opry’s traditional annual hunting retreat. According to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, white-tailed deer can currently be harvested via three options: gun, muzzleloader, or archery until January 8th.
No word on how successful the group was during their hunting expedition, but we’re sure these guys appreciated some time away from their hectic schedules and obligations. Fortunately for us, Missouri native Chris Janson documented some of the trip via Instagram.
Okay, who let Blake have a real knife?
Janson and Easton enjoying some downtime.
Of course there was music playing— Hank Williams Jr. to be exact.
Yes, “Rose Colored Glasses” Country music legend John Conlee joined the group too!
What a memorable experience for all involved. Share this with other Country music fans!
