Blake Shelton pens an upbeat song perfect for kids everywhere!
Besides providing the voice for Earl the green pig, country singer Blake Shelton was also tasked with coming up with an original tune for The Angry Birds Movie. The music video for the song “Friends” below features Shelton in the studio along with the animated characters Red, Chuck, Stella, Bomb, and the Mighty Eagle. This upbeat, positive tune about lasting friendships has a wonderful message for children of all ages. Fans can catch the movie in theaters on May 20th and purchase the cheerful song here.
Besides the upcoming family-friendly film opening next month, Shelton’s very personal studio album If I’m Honest will also drop on May 20th. The Oklahoma crooner’s Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum exhibit dubbed Blake Shelton: Based on a True Story will open to the public on May 27th.
