At a pre-GRAMMY's party, new couple Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani were seen getting cozy on Valentine's Day.
Now that the dust has settled on the Blake-Gwen relationship, the couple is more comfortable showing their affection for each other in public. They were seen recently at a pre-GRAMMY’s party, which was thrown for music industry professionals, by music business icon Clive Davis. The event was in honor of well-known manager Irving Azof.
Stefani was seen sitting on Shelton’s lap at one of the tables having a fantastic time. We expect to see much more PDA from the power-couple in the future, especially since they will continue on the popular music reality show The Voice. Stefani will not be a coach in the new season, but she has signed on to be an adviser to Team Blake in season 10.
“We know we collaborate well together as coaches, so of course I would have her as my mentor, and she’s so smart and talented!” Shelton tells People.
Shelton will have more on his mind this year outside of a new relationship and a mega-successful television show. Shelton is planning on releasing a new album that will feature a very personal list of songs, in light of all that happened in 2015 with his very public divorce from Miranda Lambert.
“It’s driving me nuts to not be already into that project because it’s all I’m thinking about,” Shelton says.
“I’m doing what I’m supposed to do, and that’s put all I’ve gone through and put it into music, and I never felt more connected to a record before. When people hear this record, they may not know what happened to me, but they’re gonna know how I felt about it. And that’s exciting for me, to just lay it out there for people.”
For Stefani’s part, she is also releasing personal music that recounts the events she went through last year. She premiered a music video for her single “Make Me Like You” at the GRAMMYs and admitted the song was about Shelton. In the music video she visits a bar named “Blake’s”.
“What’s so crazy is like, sometimes tragedy, if you really absorb it, you can turn it into something beautiful, and this whole album is really about just trying to take something that’s awful and just, I don’t know, healing from it,” Stefani told Jimmy Kimmel on his show Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
