Billy Currington‘s tune “It Don’t Hurt Like it Used To,” has been selected as the third single from the singer-songwriter’s Summer Forever album. Currington co-wrote this piece with songwriter friends Cary Barlowe and Shy Carter. The song’s inspiration comes straight from the Georgia native’s own romantic backstory— the “Alabama dirt” mention was pulled straight from a past failed relationship.
Currington, 42, joins up with “Dibs” songbird Kelsea Ballerini next month for his Summer Forever Tour. Check out the dates below.
