Billy Currington Drops “It Don’t Hurt Like It Used To” Lyric Video

Check out this new lyric video from Billy Currington. Perfect for mending a broken heart this time of year.

Billy Currington captures the emotions of intense heartache in the delivery of his brand new single “It Don’t Hurt Like It Used To,” which hit country radio today. The lyric video helps illustrate the story of a man moving on after a hard breakup.

Inspired by relationships in the 42-year-old singer’s past, the track creates a picture of a man trying is hardest to heal. In it, he’s meeting his buddies for drinks and telling them about how his former love “drug my heart through the Alabama dirt.” Currington sings, “Sometimes I find peace of mind in a bottle of wine / Sometimes I break down and cry.”

“It Don’t Hurt Like It Used To” follows 2015’s “Drinkin’ Town with a Football Problem” off of his Summer Forever album. The singer-songwriter will begin his very first headlining tour, the 2016 Summer Forever Tour, on February 19th in San Antonio, Texas with “Dibs” songbird Kelsea Ballerini.
