In a new interview with InStyle, singer-songwriter Anderson East shed some light on his romance with girlfriend and country music superstar Miranda Lambert.
“There’s a true admiration there and a large level of understanding on both sides, for sure. It’s always difficult to be a traveling musician and still keep things together. Understanding is a huge factor,” East shared about keeping their relationship healthy while juggling their music careers.
As for what the pair do when they have some downtime— the watch their favorite television shows together. The Crown, The Killing, and The Fall with Gillian Anderson prove popular with the couple. (They are just like us…)
Anderson recently released his latest album, Encore, which features a track titled “Girlfriend.” So is that tune about his lady love of two years? Nope.
“It was something tongue-in-cheek that made us laugh. We were just trying to amuse ourselves,” East shared about his creative session with Avicii which quickly led to this song being fully realized.
