If you’re not familiar with the popular game show Family Feud, two families compete against each other, answering questions asked by the host, Steve Harvey. The participants attempt to list the most common responses to polls of 100 people. Of course everyone wants to know the possible awards given to the winning contestants. So what are the rewards? The rewards tend to be cash, around $20,000, or brand new cars.
On Sunday July 24, 2016, Family Feud hosted a celebrity episode. The Band Perry, composed of three siblings, Kimberly, Reid and Neil Perry, invited two of their cousins to play alongside them. Their opponent was former E! News anchor Giuliana Rancic and her family. However, the Rancic family didn’t prove to be much competition for the Country music stars.
The Band Perry advanced to the Fast Money part of the show, where two team members compete together to earn the grand prize. The band chose Reid and Kimberly to play. Kimberly did so well she impressed Steve Harvey. She achieved the highest possible score by recording all of the top answers!
Needless to say, The Band Perry claimed the grand prize. What did they do with their winnings? The siblings donated the $25,000 to the charity of their choice, Teen Cancer America. How generous!
