Rock the Ocean’s fifth annual Tortuga Music Festival is set for April 7th through April 9th of 2017. For the event, Fort Lauderdale opens up its beaches to accommodate three days worth of concerts featuring some of country’s biggest artists.
This festival used to take place over two days only, but having three days full of renowned country artists gives country fans a more exciting concert experience with each day! With the stages and viewing area being right on the beach, festival goers can listen to country music from major artists while enjoying the relaxing elements of a beach vacation. Country superstar Kenny Chesney has headlined two of the four previous Tortuga Music Festivals, and he is coming back in 2017!
The complete talent lineup for 2017 will be released on October 18th, but previous lineups have included Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw, and Luke Bryan. A variety of over 30 artists will be in attendance, ranging from country to rock. Multiple stages allow artists to play at the same time for constant music and entertainment on the beach.
The Tortuga Music Festival brings people together for the music, but the event also helps fund the Rock The Ocean Foundation through ticket sales and donations. The organization supports research, education, and conservation of the world’s oceans.
Tickets for the exciting festival are currently on sale and can be scooped up here.
