In a new commercial for Gildan, country music heartthrob Blake Shelton becomes an underwear model— well sort of. The Oklahoma native is shown fully clothed and surrounded by a pile of underwear in the 30-second commercial spot.
“Underwear really isn’t underwear if it’s not under something,” he cleverly remarks as the camera pans out. “That’s what it’s for.”
He then closes the quirky pitch with, “Hey, how about a commercial where you wear underwear like it’s really worn? Well, here you have it! I’m Blake Shelton and I’m modeling my underwear.”
The “Came Here to Forget” singer is keeping it truly simple; just a man and his underwear. Maybe a sexier Part 2 will be on the horizon for this commercial partnership? We can dream…
