Thomas Rhett was on vacation in Africa when he received the exciting news that Lauren was pregnant. However, the Georgia native was not the first to learn about the pregnancy. The couple were on a safari with Tyler Hubbard, from Florida Georgia Line, and his wife Hayley. Lauren broke the news to the other couple before she told Thomas. Despite being the last to hear, Rhett could not contain his excitement.
The cute pair recently confirmed that both children will be baby girls. Although the first-time father can not wait for his daughters to arrive, he admits that he has fears. Since Rhett will be kicking off his Home Team Tour in April, the 26-year-old is concerned he will not have time with his children. When asked what he was most scared of during a recent media event, Rhett replied, “I think my biggest fear is looking at my daughter and being like, ‘Yeah, I gotta go on the road for the weekend.'” After discussing fatherhood with other country artists such as Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley, Rhett feels more comfortable in his ability to adapt to being a parent.
