Let's take a little musical detour back to Taylor Swift's Nashville days.
Though she may have the “Wildest Dreams” these days, Taylor Swift‘s career first took root in Nashville. Despite your feelings about her pop odyssey, you have to admit that young Taylor has some really awesome country songs to her credit. Here are a few of our personal favorites.
“Tim McGraw” 2006
“Teardrops On My Guitar” 2006
“Our Song” 2006
“Love Story” 2008
“Mean” 2010
Yes, we’re leaving off with the anti-bully anthem. Swift deserves our respect as a singer-songwriter with the talent to dominate several facets of the fickle music industry. It’s fascinating to see her growth as an entertainer and watch her successfully make the jump into another musical genre. Very few artists can complete that transition.
Kudos to Taylor for blazing her own path while remaining a level-headed role model.
