Check Out Miranda Lambert’s Animal Companions

Miranda Lambert is quite the animal lover. She recently posted a photo with her animal squad, so check out her furry friends here!

A few years back Texas native Miranda Lambert established the MuttNation Foundation, which supports shelters and finds homes for homeless pets, with her mother Bev. She is obviously an animal lover, and she has quite a few animal companions herself. Last Sunday, she posted a picture on Instagram that shows off her squad of furry friends. Six dogs appear in the picture with varying shapes and sizes, but one wasn’t even pictured! The singer-songwriter has a total of SEVEN rescue dogs!

Looking at her caption, Lambert has a whole crew of animals other than her loyal pups— she also has four cats, five horses and two mini-horses. Don’t worry, though. She lives on a spacious Tennessee farm, so she has plenty of room for all of her furry friends.

Lambert and her boyfriend, Anderson East, also recently adopted three of the four farm cats. They named them Bobbi McGee, Nick Saban and Bear Bryant. East shares her love for animals, and the last two are actually named after East’s favorite football coaches at Alabama. Thankfully, the couple enjoys having so many animal companions despite being wildly outnumbered.

The MuttNation Foundation has a special place in Lambert’s heart. She holds an annual fundraiser for the organization, and over the years, she has given thousands of dollars to shelters around the country. This summer, Lambert will hold a pet adoption drive at CMA Fest in Nashville. It will also include a march to help raise awareness for shelter pets. She surely is a strong advocate for the “Adopt, don’t shop” motto, which helps dogs get out of shelters.

Lambert also has her own line of pet accessories and products called MuttNation Fueled by Miranda Lambert. These products will also be available at CMA Fest this year. She designed the accessories to match her southern rock-chic style.

“Country music has the best fans in the world and together we can help so many animals find amazing homes,” Lambert says.

Her most recent album, The Weight of These Wings, won Album of the Year at the 2017 ACM Awards. A single off the album, “Tin Man,” is hitting the Billboard Country charts at No. 15 so far. Check out her performance of “Tin Man” at the ACM Awards!
