On Saturday, country music artist Luke Bryan took the time during his Farm Tour stop to remember the Las Vegas mass shooting victims.
While performing in Centralia, Missouri on his Farm Tour over the weekend, country music superstar Luke Bryan paused the fanfare in order to pay his respects to those killed and injured during the Las Vegas mass shooting, which occurred during the Route 91 Harvest Festival on Sunday, October 1st.
The Georgia native thanked first responders and asked his fans to help him “remember those beautiful, those innocent, wonderful country music fans” and their loved ones.
“It’s not a country music situation — it’s not a country music fan situation. It’s a music fan situation, because we were all robbed of our innocence Sunday night,” Bryan shared with his Farm Tour audience. “I love you guys for being brave and showing up tonight and understanding the best thing we can do is show up tonight and do what we know how to do: have fun — have fun as Americans and celebrate all the music and celebrate country music tonight.”

Though Luke Bryan wasn’t in Las Vegas during the violent attack, he did speak to close friend and fellow country music hit-maker, Jason Aldean, just hours after the Las Vegas mass shooting took place.
“Hearing one of your best friends shaken up like that, knowing they’ll never be able to unsee these things, you get lumps, and you get nauseated,” Bryan shared while appearing on Good Morning America. “It’s hard — I don’t even know.”
The unfathomable violence, which claimed more than 50 lives and injured over 500, occurred as Aldean was performing his headlining set at the packed music festival.
“As entertainers, you look at your fans — you’re not up there to do anything but connect with them,” the Georgia native expressed. “I lay in bed, and when they show the faces of the victims — they’re our fans, they embody America. It’s [a] country music festival, but it’s America, and it’s bigger than just — it’s just bigger than — it goes so far beyond. You heard about it at the Ariana Grande concert and now here it is in front of us. It was one of the most heartbreaking days of my life and for this country too.”
